As the Director of Studywest Education Services (Mauritius), Simon has played a pivotal role in empowering students from Africa to overcome geographical and socio-economic barriers and access premier educational opportunities in Australia.

Simon's passion for education was ignited during his own studies, culminating in his earning a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Sustainability from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Simon has also acquired specialized certifications from esteemed institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Columbia Business School, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and the ICEF Academy Australia, where he honed his skills as a professional Sustainability Reporting Professional in sustainable practices, Corporate reporting, and a qualified education agent counsellor. This further underscored his belief in the power of education as a catalyst for personal and communal advancement.

As an education counsellor, Simon adopts a holistic approach to student guidance, providing comprehensive support through detailed advisories on academic programs, cultural integration, financial planning, and visa acquisition processes. His deep understanding of the educational landscape, combined with a strategic partnership network with prestigious universities and colleges both in Mauritius and Australia, enables him to offer tailored advice that aligns with each student's academic and career aspirations.

Simon's professional ethos is characterized by a profound belief in education as a human right and a transformative tool that propels individuals and communities towards inclusive growth and sustainable development. His efforts align seamlessly with Sustainable Development Goal No.4, which focuses on promoting inclusive and equitable quality education. This mission is further extended through his administrative role at Studywest's hybrid office in Perth and its sub-office in Mauritius, which acts as a vital bridge connecting African students to educational opportunities in a supportive Mauritian environment.

As a leader, Simon integrates emotional intelligence with his management skills to mentor and inspire educational teams, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's vision of fostering an inclusive, diverse, and forward-thinking educational community.
